First Draft Pro is officially live in beta!

First Draft Pro is in private beta, and the feedback has been great: "10/10 would highly recommend for writers!"

🥳 Happy New Year, story-nerds! We've been busy working with writers and editors to understand the different challenges storytellers face when bringing a story to life so that we could build the best possible collaborative writing app for you.

We're super excited to announce that First Draft Pro has officially been released into beta!

Some of the features included in this release include:

• Collaboration
• Outlining and plotting tools
• The ability to shuffle scenes and chapters easily
• Wordcount and project goals
• Cloud storage, syncing, and back-up

The response has been great so far:

I've been loving First Draft. LOVE the goal bar. LOVE how simple and clean everything is. LOVE the Google Drive exporting. It's been a real delight to work in.

I started using First Draft for completing my short story collection. It's easy to navigate and use. Unlike Google Docs, it gives you quick access to specific parts of your work through the chapter and scene tabs. So awesome!

I've just started writing using First Draft and it's great being able to see my planning scroll past as I'm busy writing that section. 10/10 would highly recommend for writers!
